Scope of Work
I transferred to OIC in 2021 as the team’s second video-hire, and at the time, was the team’s sole videographer and editor. Now, I'm Head of Video Production, for OIC's internal Creative Services Team. Day-to-day, I manage incoming video requests, delegate assignments to freelance staff, film on-location in fulfillment centers, and perform hands-on editing of high-priority projects.
Series Development
The benefit of working in-house is that you gain a deep understanding of your audience and subject matter. Years of testing various formats provided data that hosted content that resonates best with our viewers. Using this knowledge, I conceptualized, produced, directed, and edited a series highlighting the leadership team at a site in Canada.
Leader Messages
Leaders at Amazon recognize that video is the best way to communicate important messages. I’ve had the opportunity to work directly with our CEO and several VPs. On-set, I’m responsible for coaching them through scripted messages and ensuring they come across well to our associate audience, requiring confidence to provide critical, timely feedback.
Career Advancement Stories
Most associates view Amazon as a temporary or seasonal job. As the content lead for career mobility and upskilling stories, I’ve spent the last four years traveling the country interviewing real employees. My goal is to promote that long-lasting careers can be built here.
